PTA - FOSL

Welcome to the Friends of St Lawrence!

All parents and carers are members of Friends of St Lawrence (FOSL) and it is run by volunteers to raise money and benefit all children at the school. Everyone is welcome to come along to FOSL meetings or to stand for any roles on the committee.

FOSL organise events designed to be fun for children, parents or both - but can also be found helping and supporting at school occasions. In fact, many of our parents choose to volunteer for one or two events throughout the year and this is very much appreciated. Please keep your eyes open for a chance to volunteer if you would like to - your class rep will keep you updated with any requests for help.

Over the years, FOSL have used these events to fund many purchases including library books, play apparatus, IT hardware and sports equipment. The most recent FOSL purchases are 15 new laptops and the wonderful reception class furniture.

There is a FOSL noticeboard outside the school gate but we also use a private FOSL Facebook group to communicate with our parent community. Please contact your class rep or the FOSL secretary (email address below) if you would like to join the group - we do recommend it as a great place to keep up to date with all the FOSL plans.
