Sponsored 2km

Last Friday all of the children at St Lawrence completed a 2km sponsored run, walk, jog or wheel. What a
glorious morning it was! The route consisted of 3 laps of our full site including the field, ks1 and ks2
playground! All of the children really did try their best and completed this task with lots of energy, determination and resilience. We noticed a huge improvement from last year.

Well done to all those involved! We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff for supporting this event and for the volunteers that gave up their time to marshal the route. The Year 6 children also did a fantastic job of showing everyone where to go and running cool downs after the run.

This year we also made this an inter-house event with the first ten runners of each class earning points for their house. I can reveal that Green House were the winners with a total of 106 points.
