Chobham Carnival

Friends of St Lawrence (FOSL) created an amazing float for the children of St Lawrence C of E Primary School to take part in the Chobham Carnival procession on Bank Holiday Monday. Mrs Chenery and lots of other members of staff and parents joined in the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed procession dressed as the main characters from the story.  St Lawrence C of E Primary school Maypole Team also gave a wonderful performance at the carnival  It was once again a fabulous community event enjoyed by everyone.

 

Keep Chobham tidy

Our Eco Warriors, a group of 12 children, Mrs Tucker and Ms Bull represented our school in a Keep Chobham Tidy litter pick. The Surrey Heath Mayor Cllr Helen Whitcroft and Surrey Heath MP Michael Gove joined the Eco Warriors on the litter pick. The children loved taking part in the litter pick and went back to school very happy. A massive thank you to all the children for all their help.
