The Governing Body of St. Lawrence School is made up of parents, staff and representatives of the Diocese, Parish and County Council. Governors may only act together; they may not act individually. In addition, Parent Governors bring views of parents to the Governing Body. They have an equal status in the work of the Governing Body and have voting rights.
Governors are elected or appointed for four years and serve on one or more committees to carry out their various duties.
